Description
Mint condition is the highest preservation category for German edged weapons from the pre-1945 period and characterizes items that show no significant signs of use, storage wear, or restoration. Such specimens retain the original factory polish on the blade, intact nickel plating or bluing, pristine appearance of the handle and scabbard without wear marks, scratches, or corrosion. Weapons in Mint condition are extremely rare, as most examples were in active service, and represent the highest collectible value.
